Field Tank Construction
New Tank Construction – Expedited Schedule
Elite’s client required three new tanks constructed in a short schedule. In five months, Elite successfully completed and turned over three 40,000 bbl tanks. The gravel foundations these tanks were constructed on were considered uncommon in that they were over five feet high. This coupled with a larger diameter tank created a situation where additional crane work would have been required to complete the floor and first shell course. Through operational and field collaboration alternate equipment was sourced and saved the client time and money for installation of the lower tank portions.
