Tank Repair & Restoration
Tank Repair – External Floating Roof Lift
This tank required multiple repairs to the foundation, tank floor and external floating roof. Various project constraints resulted in searching out alternative methods to accommodate multiple work fronts simultaneously. By working closely with the client and representatives it was determined that crane lifting the 120’-0” diameter external floating roof from the tank was the best solution. Effectively allowing multiple crews to complete their work at one time, including coating application of the repaired floating roof outside the tank, resulted in safer working conditions, cost and time savings.
